Happy Christmas Eve: My Visit to the Fantasy of Trees (2025)

The annual Fantasy of Trees is a holiday benefit in Knoxville in which proceeds go to The East Tennessee Children's Hospital. I attend this event every year with my mom and it's always a fun time and a great way of ringing in the Christmas season.

This year, the theme was Enchanted Forest and there was a lot of wintery woodland decorations that I enjoyed seeing. Typically, the Fantasy of Trees is composed of beautifully decorated trees done mostly by local schools and businesses as well as festive Christmas scenery all over that makes you feel like you've been transported to a Christmas village.

There's also a gingerbread village which is one of my favorite things to look at. Many of them are created by school kids and the high school groups especially do an amazing job but they're all adorable!

At the Fantasy of Trees you can also find an array of kids activities, a large carousel, gift shops, snack areas, and a performance stage for dance and music groups. I didn't photograph most of this because I usually try to enjoy being in the moment but here are so more photos I got from the day.

When you leave the venue, the entrance areas are also given a festive glow up.
